The Brunei International Defence Exhibition (BRIDEX) is the premier defence & security event in South East Asia. BRIDEX 2009 will take place from 12 to 15 August 2009 at a brand new purpose-built exhibition centre located on a prime ocean-facing site in Jerudong. It expects to attract some 250 companies from around 25 countries and receiving some 400 international delegations (led by Ministers/Deputy Ministers of Defence, Chiefs of Defence Forces, Police Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Procurement) and 25,000 visitors.
BRIDEX 2009 will focus on:
• C4I
• Homeland security
• Supporting deployed forces on peace keeping/support and humanitarian operations
• Border surveillance and protection
A conference and workshops, and several displays and demonstrations will also be held in conjunction with the exhibition.
