The Brunei International Defence Exhibition (BRIDEX) is the premier defence & security event in South East Asia. Royal Brunei Technical Services (RBTS), as the organiser for BRIDEX 2009, works closely with the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), Brunei Darussalam, to attract and bring top level international delegations and visitors to the event.

BRIDEX 2007 offered 108 exhibitors access to 60 international delegates from 17 countries and 11,000 visitors. Building on the success of the last show, BRIDEX 2009 is set to be even bigger. BRIDEX 2009 will see a further growth, expecting to attract some 250 companies from around 25 countries and receiving some 400 international delegations (led by Ministers/Deputy Ministers of Defence, Chiefs of Defence Forces, Police Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Procurement) and 25,000 visitors.
