The Brunei International Defence Exhibition (BRIDEX) is the premier defence & security event in South East Asia. BRIDEX 2009 will be organising a land-based and waterborne demonstration of defence & security equipment and systems. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to display their products either at the mobility park or marina adjacent to the exhibition centre. There will also be aerobatic flying displays.

The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) is anticipated to participate in the BRIDEX 2009 with an aerobatic display of their Sukhoi SU-30 MKM fighter aircraft. This modern long range combat aircraft is a twin engine 2 seater fighter aircraft will perform various maneuvers highlighting the capability of the aircraft.

Also anticipated to participate is Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) which will display their F-16 fighter aircraft. This single seat single engine fighter aircraft, well known for its high maneuverability will perform solo aerobatics over BRIDEX Centre Jerudong over the sea.
